Statement
The information I got from Quiltart Digest regarding aking "rust" fabrics was inspiring. It challenged me to experiment with different fabrics and methodology. My quilt "Bird in the Garden" is made from a variety of my rusted pieces and includes about 8 different rusted fabrics in the main picture.The borders are also made by the rusting process.The rusted fabrics lent themselves to making great foliage easily.
