I pieced and fused background. The waves are free-floating (reversible) of different fabrics. I used netting , sea shells and mother-of-pearl beads.
Statement
I feel that my art quilting has developed in "waves" from my 13+ years on the QuiltArt list. I have learned so much from the ebb and flow of the conversations. I have participated in many of the challenges and then went on to produce many pieces from the techniques that were talked about. Some times I produce/"flow" a lot of work and other times I just sit back/"ebb" and process all that I learned here, just like the movement of the waves
